Any characters who severely break the rules may have their site banned, this means no new characters can be made and no logins are allowed from that site for play.

Immortal's Mortals

Immortal Guide for Playing their Mortal

Immortals with mortals are far more bound to the rules than a typical player. Any infraction will be viewed in the most severe sense of the law, punishments inclusive.

  1. Should not use any godly attained information for their mortal.
  2. Should adhere to all mortal and immortal rules without question.
  3. Cannot enter new areas for a period of two weeks after opening day.
  4. Cannot enter a new area that they have created for three weeks.
  5. Level 125+ immortals will have monitor installed on their mortals to watch over the mud in that form should trouble arise.

Reimbursements

Guide for Giving a Reimubursement

This rare event is handled on a case by case basis. No arguements, if an arguement ensues no reimbursement will be given whatsoever.

  1. Only ask immortals between the levels 121 and 124 for a reimbursement.
Enter jobs redeemer for a list of appropriate immortals.
  2. Levels 119 to 120 may invoke equipment for a mortal should they agree to assist a level 121 to 124 should the immortal ask.
  3. Level 125 to 127 immortals do not reimburse equipment as they have other important work to attend to, but they can still deny requests for reimbursement for any reason.

The following are the OLD examples of when NOT to reimburse:

  1. A player has died, and the game crashes before he can get his corpse.
  2. The item 'disappeared' in rent.
  3. The game crashes, and all his stuff is gone.
  4. A player has died, and the corpse was looted.

The following are the current official causes where reimbursement is allowed:

  1. When an immortal has misplaced a deathtrap, either by placing it improperly or by its behavior being miscoded. In this case we restore equipment irregardless of of limit. As a note old versions of equipment will not be given to the victim, only current versions.
  2. When a person dies no more than 10 minutes previous to a crash and was unable to get his corpse. This needs to be verified by either an immortal viewing it on monitor or by proof from the logs. Only equipment that is not over limit will be returned to the victim.

Quests

Guides for Quest Design and Use

Quests are mud encompassing activities that are preapproved by an administrative immortal of level 121 or higher. Enter jobs questmaster for a list of immortals who are able to give out quests. Prizes may be awarded by way of equipment, which needs to be approved by a level 122 or higher. This equipment should be non-limited items that keep in line with the theme of the quest, these objects may be restrung following the restringing guidelines.

  1. The quest should have a predetermined time limit.
  2. The quest startining immortal must be online for the quest.
  3. The mud must be returned to its original state when the quest ends.
  4. All players must be informed of the beginning of the quest.
  5. Players may join a quest after it has started but is not entitled to an extended time limit nor a detailed explanation of the quest.

Arena

Arena and Battlefield

These activities are to occur no more than twice a day and they should remain open for entry for no more than 5 minutes. These may only be opened with the consent of an administrative immortal and if the requesting immortal feels there is enough interest to warrant opening it. Minimum level range for opening either is a 10 level span. If any mortal attempts to coerce an immortal into opening either, then none will be opened.

Rules:

  1. No shifting into other forms while in the arena.
  2. No mobile testing without administrative permission.
  3. No entrance after either has been closed.

Immortal Combat

Rules for Mortals Requesting a Fight

Though not very wise, it should be known that mortals can slay immortals, and they are worth alot of experience points. Immortals should shun all requests from mortals to fight you for the experience. If a mortal manages to kill an immortal, the immortal should not seek out the mortal to kill him as the player will be flagged a a playerkiller and not be eligible for absolvement. If an immortal is attacked by a mortal accidentally, the immortal should attempt to flee as soon as possible. If the Mortal is aware that he is attacking an immortal (and thus intentional), the mortal should also be fully aware of the powers that the immortal possess. Ignorance in this case is NOT a defense, and the immortal is fully allowed to defend themself. The immortal should, however, refrain from using excessive area spells (Solar Gate, Inferno, etc), as they may effect the status of other players in the area, and the mortal's own group members. If the mortal should flee from the immortal, the immortal should not attempt to find the mortal to finish the mortal off. If that mortal should find the immortal again and initiate attack, then the immortal is again allowed to defend themself. Every case of mortals intentionally attacking immortals should be dealt with on an investigative basis later.

Though at the current time there is no real penalty for an Immortal death, the immortal should be aware that they are accountable for each piece of equipment on their person at the time of their death, and these items must be recovered to maintain game balance. If possible, the immortal should summon or bring the offending mortal to a peace flagged room and recover their items.
