Create a CharacterRequest a new character, or create one online by telnet or the Java client.

You are encouraged to create a character online through Telnet or the Java Client. If you are unable to create a character online, use the request form below and complete all the sections. Your data will be processed as quickly as possible.

Prepare

Before you begin, you may wish to review the character options, the races, and the careers — including the limits of certain races.

Request form

A new-character request provides the following:

• Email address — for your creation notification.
• Character name, and an optional alternate name.
• Password — kept secret; it will not be shown.
• Gender — male or female.
• Race — Human, Elven, Dwarven, Troll, Half-elf, Sprite, Hobbit, Drow, or Gnome.
• Career — choose one, with an optional second and third career. The ten careers are Cleric, Mage, Thief, Warrior, Anti-Paladin, Barbarian, Druid, Illusionist, Paladin, and Ranger.
• Comments — any additional notes you wish to make.

If you choose career types that are incompatible, your character will not be created.
