zone-forest-of-magic

The great faerie kingdom was once known as the Kingdom of Trenra. It was a magnificent place -- the people were happy and wealthy, their culture was rich and their mighty army was well-known on many planes of existence. It is during this age that the School of Roke was established, a place where wizards from around the world could come and share their knowledge in the protection of the enchanted place known as the Forest of Magic. Trenra was led by a powerful ruler, King Dreekhal the Tremendous. King Dreekhal, for reasons unknown, made a pact with a Kar'fah-tiliath the Ruler of Darkness for more power. This corrupted King Dreekhal turning him into an iron-fisted tyrant. Eventually, the kingdom began to falter under his control, a rebel army Led by The Gold King Saalvar, With the help of Shrylah, the Pure and Innocent One, and other powers of good from the Forest of Magic, overthrew and banished him. Peace and much of the kingdom's past glory was restored making the people of the Golden Faerie Ring happy once again. This Peace was short lived however, as it appears that Dreekhal is back. He is now crazed and obsessed with power, and will stop at nothing to rule the kingdom once more. The Gold King Saalvar is missing, and some fear he has been tricked or captured by the Mad King. Queen Balvaara, in desparate need of help, has sent Thomaas, her most trusted and loyal servant, to seek help from the outside with the following message: My dear Thomaas - You have always been a trusted and loyal servant of the Kingdom of Gold. Now I must send you on a mission of the upmost importance. You are my only hope. I have opened a doorway into another plane of existence, another world. Please go to this place and ask the most powerful adventurers to enter the doorway and destroy the Mad King. Because my magic is weak, I'm not sure that I'll be able to keep the doorway open to the same place in the other world always, so it might change locations. I'll try my best to keep it down to only a few possible locations however. Please Thomaas, I need your loyalty more than ever now. I'm depending Yours truely, Queen Balvaara. If you would help a Queen in need, look first for a magical doorway. consume whomever sits near it, an old forger of magical items reportedly

zone-grable-manor

Otis Grable had this once great mansion built many years ago and stayed
here with his wife Victoria and their three children Owen, Lisa and
Theodore.
There were many questions at the time as to why Otis built such a great
mansion away from the city. Rumor at the time had it that somewhere in the
house, Otis had constructed a set of rooms unknown even to the other
members of the Grable family.
Otis was rather unfriendly and unforgiving to strangers so people
learnt to avoid the place, now many years later the house looks quite
abandoned.
This once great great mansion at the end of its life looks more like a
spooky old manor, many of the windows on the second story are cracked and
broken and all that is left of a stained glass window that once occupied
the majority of the front wall are little shards of colored glass. Are you
bold enough to find out what kind of work made Otis settle out here ? Was
he a quiet family man or was there some sinister dark purpose ?
